Client Overview
A prestigious Swiss luxury watchmaker renowned for its craftsmanship, heritage, and innovation. Seeking to strengthen the leadership capabilities of their APAC retail team, the brand commissioned a comprehensive three-day event designed to inspire leaders to drive change, elevate collaboration, and uphold the brand’s position at the forefront of the luxury watch market.
The Challenge
Aligning a geographically dispersed APAC leadership team around a unified vision for retail excellence is no small task. The brand needed its leaders to move beyond day-to-day operational thinking and adopt a forward-looking, ownership-driven mindset. Adding complexity, the event needed to work seamlessly in a hybrid format — engaging both in-person and virtual participants equally, without losing the energy or connection that makes experiential learning stick.
Our Approach
We designed a comprehensive three-day programme — balancing leadership development, strategic planning, and team-building — with every session tailored to resonate with the brand’s ethos of heritage and innovation.
Leadership Identity & Mindset Reset (Day 1)
Leaders mapped their strengths across self-awareness, collaboration, innovation, and strategic thinking using the Leadership Compass tool, then challenged their own leadership beliefs through a reflective session on communication, influence, and adaptive behaviour — sparking transformational shifts in mindset.
Excellence in Action (Day 1)
A focused session exploring the core leadership behaviours that define retail excellence at Audemars Piguet, giving leaders practical strategies to align their approach with the brand’s high standards and elevate team performance on the floor.
Strategic Vision & Customer Innovation (Day 2)
Leaders reflected on the past year’s achievements and challenges, then shifted into creative mode — brainstorming innovative boutique activation strategies and exploring visionary ideas through a Future Vision Lab designed to redefine the retail experience for the year ahead.
Collaboration Under Pressure (Day 3)
Hands-on team challenges — including The Precision Challenge and Crocodile River — put leadership behaviours to the test in high-pressure scenarios, before a final session turned identified barriers into actionable strategies, equipping leaders to navigate obstacles with confidence.
Result & Impact
Personalised Leadership Roadmaps
Every leader left with a clear, individualised growth plan — identifying specific areas to strengthen their leadership effectiveness and their direct impact on team performance and customer experience.
Execution-Ready Retail Strategy
The team generated a pipeline of high-impact retail initiatives and boutique activation ideas, with clear priority actions and focus areas ready to drive the brand’s 2025 strategy from day one.
Breakthrough Strategic Thinking
The Future Vision Lab produced several bold, forward-looking ideas that reshaped what leaders believed was possible — inspiring new strategic directions and a renewed appetite for innovation across the APAC region.
Stronger Ownership & Collective Culture
Leaders emerged with a deeper connection to Audemars Piguet’s core values, a heightened sense of shared responsibility, and the collaborative confidence to lead their teams through change with precision and purpose.
