How We Work Together
Whether you're a team working together day-to-day or a senior leadership group steering the organisation, high performance is built on the same foundation: trust. This workshop creates the space for real honesty and turns a group of capable people into a team that actually functions as one.

About This Workshop
Available for intact
and leadership teams
Whether you're a project team, a functional unit, or a senior leadership group — the things that hold teams back are remarkably consistent. Lack of trust. Reluctance to disagree. Decisions that don't stick. Accountability that stays on paper. Collective results that no one actually owns.
How We Work Together is a structured workshop built on Patrick Lencioni's Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team. Available for two audiences — intact teams working together day-to-day, and senior leadership groups leading the organisation as one. The framework is the same. What changes is the conversation.

Built around your team
Half-day
A focused session for teams with a clear starting point and limited time. We work through the foundations of trust and healthy conflict. Participants leave with a shared language and a concrete commitment.
Introduction to the Five Behaviours framework
Trust-building through personal histories exercise
Understanding of conflict strategies
One behaviour each person commits to changing
Teams short on time with a specific decision or reset to work through.
Full-day
A single-day experience, covering the full arc from trust to collective results. The recommended starting point for most teams. Enough time to go deep and enough structure to come out with real clarity.
Vulnerability-based trust and personal histories
Productive conflict and mining for real disagreement
Commitment rituals and decision-making clarity
Peer accountability structures and personal pledges
Team purpose statement and collective ambition
Leadership teams doing annual planning, new-year kickoffs or mid-year strategic resets.
Two-day offsite
For teams facing significant change, or a moment that calls for more than a single day can hold. Two days creates the space to go deeper, sit with discomfort, and leave with decisions and commitments that stick.
Everything in the full-day format
Deep exploration of the team assessment
Behavioural Profiling Exercise
Conflict Norming Exercise
Thematic Goal Exploration
Team Scoreboard
Organisations at a strategic inflection point — new leadership, major market shifts, significant restructuring.
What Participants Leave With
Five shifts from a
single workshop
01
Psychological Safety
Participants leave with a shared understanding of where trust exists and where it needs to be built and concrete personal commitments to close the gap.
02
A Language for Conflict
The team learns to distinguish productive ideological conflict from destructive personal tension and commits to engaging in difficult conversations rather than avoiding them.
03
Genuine Alignment
Not consensus — clarity. Participants leave knowing what has been decided, who owns what, and how disagreement will be communicated rather than suppressed.
04
Peer Accountability
Each person names one behaviour they are personally committing to change and nominates a peer to hold them to it.
05
Collective Ambition
A shared team purpose statement — built in the room, owned by the group — that articulates what the team stands for and where it is going together.
Before the session
The sessions that create real change are the ones where the facilitation is precisely calibrated to what's actually happening in the team, whether we're working with a project team or a C-suite. Before every session, we gather that context through a series of discovery conversations. For teams that want to go deeper, we also offer a High-Performing Teams assessment — a diagnostic that surfaces exactly where your team is strong and where it is held back.
“Your facilitation style created an environment where everyone felt comfortable participating and contributing — with the energy to keep us engaged and the skill to keep the content relevant throughout the entire day. The full day was a truly worthwhile investment in our team's development, and we are grateful for the strong foundation you've helped us build.”
