Client Overview
The client is a global leader in nutrition, health, and beauty innovation, operating in over 100 countries and delivering science-led, creative solutions across nutrition, wellness, and beauty. The engagement was run with a regional division of the company's global perfumery and beauty business.
The Challenge
Having already taken part in general team workshops in the past, the division needed something more structured and actionable: a session that would define shared values, roles, and goals; strengthen accountability, communication, and decision-making; and produce a unified short-term strategy with clear next steps.
Our Approach
FridayMakers designed a customised full-day workshop combining collaborative activities, reflective exercises, and structured discussions across four key sessions.
Structural Strategy Challenge
Participants envisioned their team's success by writing a letter detailing accomplishments and milestones, building clarity on collective purpose and short-term goals.
Letter from the Future
Participants envisioned their team's success by writing a letter detailing accomplishments and milestones, building clarity on collective purpose and short-term goals.
Team Charter Development
The team collaboratively designed a Team Charter outlining roles, strengths, mission, and values, with clear agreements on decision-making and conflict resolution.
9 Dimensions of Team Dynamics
A structured assessment evaluating team effectiveness across trust, communication, and execution, identifying strengths and creating a clear action plan.
Result & Impact
Shared Team Charter
A well-defined framework for teamwork, fostering accountability, alignment, and shared ownership of team goals, now used as an essential daily reference.
Collective Purpose & Vision
Clarity and alignment on the team's short-term goals and key actions needed to achieve success, inspiring the team to move forward with intention.
Improved Team Dynamics
A deeper understanding of collective strengths and blind spots, with a clear action plan for enhancing collaboration, efficiency, and team culture.
Culture of Accountability
The team identified Accountability, Trust, and Fun as foundational values, with proactive behaviours and transparent communication embedded into ways of working.
Participant Feedback
The session was incredibly effective in helping us identify key interventions we needed to focus on. Everyone had the opportunity to contribute, ensuring all voices were heard. The team charter exercise sparked some wonderful ideas that will help guide our next steps.
